  1. Interesting address for J. Curant! Racing from Putney Heath- or handy for Epsom?! Were J&R Curant brothers? One apprenticed with Boggy (born Jermeiah) Whelan, the other with Tommy Gosling.

    After a little Google research I would say yes it would seem to be that John and Bob Curant were brothers… I found a very interesting thread on a forum which referred to them growing up at Worlds End, Chelsea. The tread can be found here:

  3. Had a look at the link, very interesting. I was going to post some replies but you need to open an account. The thread was about Brian Rouse but there was no mention of one of his daughters appearing top less in a Sunday paper!
